Sanctuary returns to Syfy April 15

The third season of Syfy Channel’sSanctuary is coming back for another 10 episodes.  Syfy announced today that the show will resume on Friday, April 15 at 10 p.m. (E/P).
This year’s storyline will pick up where the mid-season cliffhanger left off, with the team at the mercy of Ranna (played by Caprica‘s Polly Walker).
Season Three will have 20 episodes in total, making it the longest season of Sanctuary to date.  Seasons One and Two had 13 episodes each.  The show has been renewed for a fourth season, which will go back to 13 episodes (story).
This will put the season finale in late June.  Season Four is expected to premiere in the fall.
Sanctuary stars Amanda Tapping (Stargate‘s Samantha Carter), Robin Dunne, Ryan Robbins (Stargate Atlantis‘s Ladon Radim), Agam Darshi, and Christopher Heyerdahl (Atlantis‘s Todd the Wraith).
